Be the Star of Your Own Show- Wolf Canyon Costume Parade (Grades 1-6)
Date: Thursday, October 31
Time: 9:00am -10:00 am
In celebration of Red Ribbon week, Wolf Canyon will be hosting its first Be the Star of Your Own Show Costume Parade! Students may dress in fall colors, like their favorite character from literature, or in a costume. Please note, the Costume Parade will be for students and staff only and will not be open to families and the community. Though students in TK-K classrooms will not participate in the parade, primary teachers will host alternative events.
Red Ribbon Week Events:

Costume Parade Guidelines:
- Regular school rules regarding the dress code must be followed.
- No masks (other than face masks), weapon-like items of any kind, fake blood, or other substances that will spill or cause a mess will not be allowed.
- inflatable costumes are allowed but may not cover student’s face and your student must know how to operate it without support.
- Inflatable costumes must be turned off and put away after the parade.
- In accordance with our CVESD Wellness Policy, students may not bring treats for their classes.
- Attire cannot promote the use of illegal substances or activities, be derogatory or disrespectful, or portray violence.
- Students are asked to show respect to other students by not touching, defacing, or insulting other students’ costumes.
Thank you for your help in ensuring these guidelines are met so we can enjoy this year’s Be the Star of Your Own Show Costume Parade for Red Ribbon Week.
