Dear Wolf Canyon Families:
Beginning February 2, 2026, we will begin our new arrival and dismissal procedures.
At the December 2025 Board of Education Meeting, the Board revised/amended Board Policy 3515.1, Campus Access and Safety, to outline the procedures for parents/guardians to safely check in and accompany their children on campus during morning drop-off. Following the Board’s decision, parents/guardians may enter the school for morning breakfast and/or drop-off, after they sign into the Chula Vista Elementary School District’s visitor management system named, Raptor.
Raptor Safe App
We are expecting delays as we get accustomed to checking families in and out on the Raptor system. Download the “Raptor Safe” app before visiting your child’s school to speed up the screening process. The app will pre-register your credentials and provide you with a QR code you can scan when you arrive.
Morning Drop-Off:
- Parents/guardians must check in at the school office or main gate using the Raptor visitor management system. Official government issued ID will be required to check-in.
- After check-in, parents/guardians may accompany their child to the designated morning drop-off area or attend morning breakfast with their child.
- Parents/guardians must exit campus immediately when the first bell rings at 8:40a.
- All parents/guardians must sign out of Raptor upon leaving campus.

After School Dismissal:

- Parents who need to enter campus after school, will be required to sign in using Raptor and share with designated staff the purpose for entering campus.
- All students in LEAD or YMCA programs must continue to adhere to established check-out policies.
Important Information:
- For the first week during morning drop-off, all families will need to sign in and out at the main gate.
- The gate at the bus loop will tentatively not be open during drop-off.
- Updates will be ongoing and communicated with the community throughout the first several weeks as improve and expedite the process!
