Reminder- In accordance with Board Policy 3515.1, parents/guardians may enter the school for morning breakfast and/or drop-off, after they sign into the CVESD’s visitor management system named, Raptor. You can download the “Raptor Safe” app before visiting your child’s school to speed up the screening process.

Safety Notice: Traffic during Arrival & Dismissal

During arrival and dismissal parking and traffic is busier than usual. School begins at 8:45a. We encourage you to plan accordingly. Student safety is everyone’s number one priority. During drop-off and pick-up, please support keep our all students, families, and staff safe by:

1.  Please pick up and drop off your children only in the loading zones (not in the red zone).  

2.  Park only in designated areas. Do not park behind parked vehicles. 

3.  Do not leave vehicle unattended on unmarked spaces, red zones, or on the loading zone.

4.  Drive slowly and stop for pedestrians. 

5.  Use crosswalks. Do not cross through the vehicle drop-off and pick up zone. 

6.  Follow directions from staff, Safety Patrol team, and on posted signs.
