LEAD Academy Program Information

The LEAD Academy Program is offered during intersession (fall, spring, and summer) at no cost to CVESD students in transitional kindergarten through sixth grade. Funded through the Expanded Learning Opportunities Program, LEAD Academy offers various academic and fun enrichment activities, field trips, and meals (breakfast, lunch, and snacks).  

Spaces are limited. The highest priority is given to students identified as “unduplicated” (foster youth, unsheltered, students living in motels/hotels, temporarily doubled up, students in temporary shelters, English language learners, and socioeconomically disadvantaged students). After the highest priority students are registered, additional students will be registered on a first-come, first-serve basis. 

Where is the LEAD Academy Program located?

The LEAD Academy Program will be offered at six school sites: Casillas, Harborside, Hedenkamp, Montgomery, Rohr, and Vista Square.

This is a friendly reminder that all LEAD Clubs — both morning and afternoon — will officially resume on Monday, April 14th. We’re excited to kick off Quarter 4 with all of our amazing students!

Please note: Some clubs may end earlier, around May 30th.

We’ll be sharing specific end dates for individual clubs in early May, so be sure to keep an eye out for that communication.

Get ready, Timberwolves! Spring Photos are right around the corner. Spring photos and 6th Grade Promotion photos will take place on April 15th.

Welcome back, Timberwolves! We hope you had a fun and safe Spring Break!

This is just a friendly reminder that today is a minimum day.

Students in 1st – 6th will dismiss at 1:45pm, TK will dismiss at 1:25pm and Kindergarteners will dismiss at 1:30pm.

Please make appropriate transportation and child care arrangements. We look forward to seeing you all back at Wolf Canyon!

April is recognized as the Month of the Military Child, a time to honor the resilience and sacrifices of military kids and their families. In celebration, we invite all military children and their immediate family members (parents/guardians) to join us for a special breakfast before school on Friday, April 11th, in the MPRfrom 8:00 to 8:40 AM.

This event is exclusively for active-duty military families to ensure we can accommodate everyone. We look forward to celebrating and showing our appreciation for our military kids and their families!
