On this special day, we extend our deepest gratitude to the brave men and women who have served our country with honor and distinction. Your, and your families’, sacrifices and dedication have safeguarded our freedoms and ensured a brighter future for all of us.
To our veterans, thank you for your unwavering commitment and courage. Your service is a testament to the strength and resilience of our nation. We are forever grateful for your contributions and the example you set for future generations. Happy Veterans Day!
Federal Impact Surveys are being sent home this week and are due back to your child’s teacher by Tuesday, November 12th.
Please ensure you complete, sign and turn these surveys in by the 12th.We need to collect one of these completed forms from every student at Wolf Canyon. The first 3 classes to get all of their surveys turned in will get a popsicle party!
It was great to see all of our Red Ribbon Week school spirit at Wolf Canyon! Also, a huge shout out to our community Law Enforcement partners for visiting Wolf Canyon and sharing with our learning community the important work you do!

Due to Law Enforcement Day setting up on the blacktop this morning, we will not have a blacktop assembly.
Grades 1-6 students are to line up directly at their classroom doors. There will also be no walking or running laps today. Students are to line up and remain in front of their classrooms.
Be the Star of Your Own Show- Wolf Canyon Costume Parade (Grades 1-6)
Date: Thursday, October 31
Time: 9:00am -10:00 am
In celebration of Red Ribbon week, Wolf Canyon will be hosting its first Be the Star of Your Own Show Costume Parade! Students may dress in fall colors, like their favorite character from literature, or in a costume. Please note, the Costume Parade will be for students and staff only and will not be open to families and the community. Though students in TK-K classrooms will not participate in the parade, primary teachers will host alternative events.
Costume Parade Guidelines:
Regular school rules regarding the dress code must be followed.
No masks (other than face masks), weapon-like items of any kind, fake blood, or other substances that will spill or cause a mess will not be allowed.
inflatable costumes are allowed but may not cover student’s face and your student must know how to operate it without support.
Inflatable costumes must be turned off and put away after the parade.
In accordance with our CVESD Wellness Policy, students may not bring treats for their classes.
Attire cannot promote the use of illegal substances or activities, be derogatory or disrespectful, or portray violence.
Students are asked to show respect to other students by not touching, defacing, or insulting other students’ costumes.
Thank you for your help in ensuring these guidelines are met so we can enjoy this year’s Be the Star of Your Own Show Costume Parade for Red Ribbon Week.

School Hours 8:45 am-3:15 pm Grades 1-6 M-Th (Kindergarten dismissal is 3:00 pm )
Fridays and ALL Minimum Days dismissal is 1:45 pm Grades 1-6 and 1:30 pm for Kindergarten
