Just a friendly reminder that students return to school today, Tuesday, 10/8, and it will be a Minimum Day dismissal.

TK will dismiss at 1:25pm, Kinder will dismiss at 1:30pm and 1st through 6th will dismiss at 1:45pm. Please make appropriate transportation and child care arrangements.

Registration is now open for Quarter 2 LEAD Clubs! https://leadwolfcanyonelementary.jumbula.com/

Starting October 14th, all clubs will kick off their activities, bringing back the creativity, teamwork, and engagement that our students love!

If your child is currently enrolled in a club, there is no need to re-register. They will automatically continue in their chosen activity. For those looking to join new clubs, we have a fantastic lineup this quarter!

Safety Notice: Traffic Drop-Off and Dismissal

Student safety is everyone’s number one priority. During drop-off and pick-up, please support keep our all students, families, and staff safe by:

1.  Please pick up and drop off your children only in the loading zones (not in the red zone).  

2.  Park only in designated areas.

3.  Do not leave vehicle unattended on unmarked spaces or loading zone.

4.  Drive slowly and stop for pedestrians. 

5.  Use crosswalks. Do not cross through the vehicle drop-off and pick up zone. 

6.  Follow directions from staff, Safety Patrol team, and on posted signs.

Thank you to everyone for your patience and partnership 

in ensuring a safe and orderly drop-off and dismissal. 

If you work in Law Enforcement and would like to be a part of our Law Enforcement Day on Friday, November 1st, please make sure to send in the form that was sent home, or download the pdf and return it to your child’s teacher. 

If you are interested in volunteering that day to help set up and direct classes please contact Miss Teahan at rachel.teahan@cvesd.org

Forms are due no later than Wednesday, October 9th.

Hello Timberwolves,

We are now in week 8 of 9 in Quarter 1.  Parent-teacher Conferences begin this week on Thursday.  Conferences are a great time to learn about how your child is progressing in reading, writing, math, science, social studies, and all other topics at school. Please note, Thursday, September 12 is a minimum day.  

Wolf Canyon experienced the passing of our beloved first grade teacher, Mrs. Elizabeth Diaz, on Friday.  For families and staff who are interested and able to support the Diaz Family, please see ways below:
