We hope everyone enjoyed the beautiful weather this weekend.
Can you believe we only have 3 weeks until Spring break? It’s time to finish strong! As we wrap up the quarter, there will be many events around campus and students completing end-of-quarter tests and assignments! Also, Family-Teacher Conferences coming soon on March 7-14. Beginning March 7- 15, all school days will also be minimum days. Let’s stay focused and cross that finish line like champions.
A major shout out to our Wolf Canyon PTA Board for organizing and hosting a wonderful Bingo Night last week! Families, students, and staff had a wonderful time playing games and connecting with each other! We love our PTA!

Students will meet every Monday and Wednesday, 3:30-4:30. Laptops will be provided for all students!

Dear CVESD Families:
Registration is now open for the Spring Junior Academy Program! Junior Academy is a free program funded through the Expanded Learning Opportunities Program. The program is open to CVESD students in transitional kindergarten through sixth grade. Junior Academy offers various academic and fun enrichment activities, field trips, and meals (breakfast, lunch, and snack). Registration priority will be given to students identified as “unduplicated” (foster youth, unsheltered, students living in motels/hotels, temporarily doubled up, temporary shelter students, English language learners, and socioeconomically disadvantaged students). After the highest priority students are registered, additional students will be registered on a first-come, first-serve basis. If selected, families will receive an email by Friday, March 8, 2024. Who is ready for some fun this upcoming break? I’m here to share an awesome FREE opportunity for the students this Spring Break!
CVESD has partnered up with YMCA Expanded Learning Program to offer students in TK-6th grade a FREE program opportunity. The Junior Academy Program will offer a wide variety of academic and fun enrichment activities including field trips! Let me tell you… they’ve been to Petco Park (Students got a tour of the stadium! GO PADRES!) , YMCA Camp Surf, Ninja Factory, and San Diego Zoo to name a few! Program dates are March 18th-March 25th, 7:30-4:30PM. No program March 29th. Breakfast, Snack and Lunch provided. The purpose of the campaign is to ensure every family has access to YMCA programs regardless of their financial background.

To register please visit our district website beginning Feb. 14th at 9:00am: www.cvesd.org Please make sure you are registering on the link that says 2024/25. This is for new students only, not currently enrolled students! Continuing student registration will take place later in the school year.
