Spirit Wear – Wolf Canyon t-shirts and sweatshirts – are available to order now. All orders are due by Friday, December 8th and may be turned into the front office. Forms are being sent home with your student or you may use the order form below:

Hello families,

The kids are going to be so excited to shop secretly for mom, dad and everyone on their list!  Check your students backpacks this week for info flyer and budget envelope.

Teachers and Parents, please be sure to remind your students to bring their budget envelopes to school.  Your teacher will let you know your students shopping day.  *Remember, shopping is during school hours* We suggest cash, so that your child can experience paying for their items and receiving change. If using a check, please make it out to Wolf Canyon Elementary PTA.

Holiday shop ours will be: 

Dec. 4th-8th

M-Th 9AM-11:30AM and 1:30PM-3:30PM

Fri- 9AM-11:30AM and 1:30-3:00PM

Dear families,

We hope that you have enjoyed this past week, spending time with your families!  

PTA is so excited that our school will be participating in an in-school Penguin Patch® Holiday Shop to spread holiday cheer!

Penguin Patch® Holiday Shop is a fun way for students to shop for family members and experience the spirit of giving while learning to earn, budget, and save! Our shop will be open Dec. 4th-8th.  The shopping hours are M-Thursday from 9AM-11:30AM and 1:30PM-3:30PM and on Friday from 9AM-11:30 and 1:30PM-2:30PM.  Your child will have the opportunity to shop for loved ones during the school day at the time slot selected by your child’s teacher.  We are looking for parent volunteers to help with set-up, shopping hours and last day breakdown of shop.  A sign -up genius is linked below for volunteers.  

Your student will have over 100 delightful gifts to choose from, all ranging in price from $0.50 to $12. This is an amazing opportunity to empower your student to choose, purchase, and give gifts to their loved ones!  We will be sending home budget envelopes and a parent letter 1 week before the shop begins.  Your teacher will let you know what day your child will be shopping.

Happy Wednesday!  We wanted to pass along some clarification for rainy day dismissal. 

TK & Kindergarten:  Bus riders will be walked down to the lunch area and wait either at the tables or in the MPR depending on the conditions. All other transitional kindergartners and kindergartners will be picked up directly from their classrooms. We will open the Kinder gate at approximately 2:50 to allow parents to head toward their child’s classroom.    

First through Sixth:  Bus riders will be walked down, or dismissed to the lunch area, and wait either at the tables or in the MPR depending on the conditions. Students that walk home, or that are picked up by car, will be dismissed from their classroom at 3:15. If you are picking up your child in person we will open the gates between 3:10 and 3:15 for you to head to their classroom. At 3:25, all students not picked up will be brought to the front office.

Federal Impact Surveys are being sent home this week and are due back to your child’s teacher by Thursday, November 16th.

Please ensure you complete, sign and turn these surveys in by the 18th.We need to collect one of these completed forms from every student at Wolf Canyon.
