Hello Wolf Pack families! Over the weekend, Wolf Canyon hosted the second annual, district-wide Math 24 Competition.
We are excited to announce that our 4th-Grade Wolf Canyon team took first place, and one of our very own, Eli Lee, had the highest individual score across the district!
The week of April 10th-14th will be our annual paper drive, organized by our Wolf Canyon Student Council. If we reach our goal of 250 reams of paper, Mr. Lange has agreed to wear the costume below…
In honor of Month of the Military Child, Wolf Canyon will be hosting Muffins for Military Families. Flyers will be sent home this week. Please fill out the bottom portion of the form and send it back with your child by Friday, 4/7. One flyer was provided per family.
If you are on active duty and did not receive a flyer, please fill out the attached form and send it back with your child, or stop by the office and ask for a form to fill out. Hope to see you there!
Many of you know that each year, April, is set aside as a military child appreciation month, officially known as the Month of the Military Child.
Children from military families deal with additional burdens, separation issues, family deployments, frequent moves, and even their parents’ injuries as part of the life they were born into or entered with their families.
At Wolf Canyon, we know that it is important that we are appreciative of our families who have served, and are currently serving, all year, but April happens to be the month where we slow down and intentionally make it a point to share our thanks for the dedication and sacrifice of each family.
Because purple is a color used to represent all military services, the theme “Purple Up” is used over the course of the month. And, true to form, the attached flyer outlines our spirit week which begins next week 4/10, and runs through next Friday, 4/14. Please take a look at the flyer and spend time next week showing your appreciation!
We hope you had a restful and safe Spring Break. Students will return Monday, 4/3 and it will be a Minimum Day dismissal. TK and Kinder will dismiss at 1:30pm and 1st through 6th will dismiss at 1:45pm.
