Monday, August 27 at 3:30 is our School Site Council meeting.

Friday, August 31 is picture make-up day.

Is your child an English learner. Would you like to know the English level of your child and what programs are provided to support him/her. Then come to the ELAC meeting on Wednesday, August 29 at 9:00am in the YMCA room to learn more.

There is no school on Monday, September 3 in honor of Labor Day. Please note that Chula Vista Elementary schools will be in session on Tuesday, September 4 and Wednesday, September 5.

Parent/Teacher conferences begin September 13 – 21 and the school will be on minimum days schedule – 8:45am – 1:30pm for kindergarten and 8:45pm – 1:45pm for students in grades 1-6. Please make sure whoever is picking up your child during these days is aware of the earlier dismissal times.

Friday, September 14 from 6:30pm – 9:00pm our Family Drive in Movie Night is back. All children are encouraged to make cars out of cardboard boxes and sit in those cars while watching a movie drive-in movie style.

Save the date: Saturday, September 29 Ignite What’s Right 5K and 1 Mile Fun/Run will take place at Rohr Park, Gate B, Gazebo 3 4548 Sweetwater Road, Bonita. You can register on online at bit.ly/ignitewhatsright.

You or your child may qualify for a UCSD research study on weight and health. Participants who qualify will participate in a 3 month study that includes a manual and group sessions that will involve information about their food intake, exercise and how to live a healthy lifestyle.
