Tuesday, September 9 at 9:00 am is our first Principal’s Coffee Chat with a guest speaker from Jr. Achievement. Come out and enjoy refreshments while learning about this great nationwide organization and its programs for schools.

Tuesday, September 9 at 3:30 pm and repeated on Wednesday, September 10 at 9:00 am the ELAC Committee will meet to review the School Site Plan, Safe School Plan and much more.

Wednesday, September 10 at 6:00 pm – Wolf Canyon Presents to the Board of Education at the school district office located on 84 East J street in Chula Vista. All are welcomed to come show your support for our school and howl!

September 11 – 18 Parent/Teacher Conferences begin this Thursday and we will be on Minimum Day Schedule until the end of the quarter. Dismissal time will be 1:30 for kindergarteners and 1:45 for all other students on those days.

Thursday, September 11 through Thursday, September 18 stop by the Bookfair. Books are a great educational gift and can support your child’s academic growth as well as the joy of reading. The Bookfair will be open 8:30 am – 3:00 pm each day in the school library. All proceeds benefit our music program.

Thursday, September 11th, during the Scholastic Book Fair, bring your completed Box Top sheets during the book fair to earn fun prizes! The more Box Tops you save the better the prizes! (Box Top sheets can be downloaded at http://www.wolfcanyonpta.com or picked up in the school office).

Friday, September 12 is our Family Drive In Movie/Camp-out Night. Bring your cardboard cars for the Drive In and your tents for the camping. Every student who creates a car/vehicle will receive a “No Homework” coupon.

Law Enforcement Day is scheduled for Friday, October 24 from 9:00 am to 11:00 am. If you are in Law Enforcement and would like to participate in this event please turn in the form that was sent home last week.

Friday, September 12 – California Association of Bilingual Educators (CABE) will have a “Welcome Back” Reception at Chula Vista High School from 4:00 pm – 6:00 pm.

Monday, September 15 – PTA General Meeting at 7:00 pm in the school Auditorium.

Wednesday, September 17 from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm have dinner at Chipotle located at 720 Otay Lakes Road and Wolf Canyon will get 50% of the proceeds. Remember to bring the flyer.

Friday, September 19 is the last day of the 1st quarter. School will resume on Tuesday, October 7 and it is a minimum day.

Homework Help will begin in October 15 and is open to children of PTA members only. There are a few spaces left. Homework club will meet on Wednesdays after school. Contact the school office for more information.
