We are collecting canned food this week to help those in need in our community during the holiday season.  The classroom that collects the most cans will get an Extra Recess for all their hard work.

Monday, November 10 is Wolf Canyon’s “Thank a Veteran” Day.  Each student will have the opportunity to give a servicemen or servicewoman a special baggie of “Thanks” for your service if you serve or have served in the military.

Tuesday, November 11 is Veteran’s Day – There is NO SCHOOL.

Wednesday, November 12 – IDENT A KID will be taking photos of participating students to create Safety Identification Cards.  Please make sure your child has the completed envelope on Wednesday if you want your child to participate.

Wednesday, November 12 – 9:00 am – 12:00 pm The Chula Vista Elementary School District is offering a parent workshop on Anti-Bullying.   The workshop will be held at the Chula Vista Elementary School District located on 84 E. J Street.

Wednesday, November 12, at 6 p.m. The Proposition E Independent Citizens Oversight Committee will meet at the Chula Vista Elementary School District located on 84 E. J Street.

Friday, November 14 is the last day to donate new toys for Toys for Tots.

Monday, November 17 at 7:00 pm is the next PTA General Meeting .

Please complete, sign and return Federal Survey forms no later than November 21st.  Every class that gets 100% of their forms completed and turned in before the deadline will receive 2 Class Orange Tickets.

The Holiday Gift Shop will take place December 15 – 18.  Talk to your children about ways they can perhaps earn money to buy gifts for their families.
