March 2 – 6 is Literacy Week – Read Across America! In honor of Dr. Seuss and the love of reading – Monday, March 2 is Pajama Day.

Tuesday, March 3 at 3:30 pm Join us for a potluck during our ELAC meeting. We will discuss and give input on the Local Control Accountability Plan LCAP. The LCAP will also be available in Spanish. Bring a dish to share.

Friday, March 6 from 9:00 am to 11:00 am get an inside look at Common Core State Standards in Action. You must attend the in-service in the school library at 8:00 am prior to the walk-through.

Math materials for the 2015 – 2016 school year are in the library for parents and teachers to review and give input. This years’ program Eureka Math is one of the considerations. Deadline for providing input is Friday, March 6.

Sunday, March 8 1:00 pm – 4:00 pm Come join the fun at our first adult only social called “Paints Uncorked” at Venga Venga located at 2015 Birch Rd. Registration for the 2015-2016 school year begins March 11 starting at 7:00 am. for Kinders who will turn 5 years old on or before September 1 and for new registrations in all other grades. Registration packets will be available in the school office beginning February 18.
