THANK YOU to everyone who supported the APEX Fun Run. It was a blast.
State and District Testing begin this week. These assessments are a great way for us to know how to better support your children in mastering the Common Core State Standards. Remember, the standards are not the curriculum. The standards are the expected skill sets that all students should have to be prepared for college and/or careers. The Common Core Standards tell us what the students are expected to know but not how. Here’s how you can help your child: Make sure they get a good night’s sleep, eat a good breakfast, and wear comfortable clothes. Most of all remind your child to do his/her best and relax.
Tuesday, April 28 at 2:30 pm we will be conducting several Emergency Preparedness Drills and are looking for parent volunteers who would like to participate. If you are interested please contact the school office.
