Monday, October 31 – Just a reminder that we do not wear Halloween costumes to school. Also, please consider keeping candy home as a treat after school and not at school.
Wednesday, November 1– 6th Grade Family Dinner Night at Panera from 4-8 pm
Wednesday, November 1-17– Annual Canned Food Drive. For over 30 years the Chula Vista Welfare Council has organized a canned food drive in our schools- all the food collected goes to families in need who reside in the Chula Vista Elementary School District. Contact the school nurse for more information.
Friday, November 3– Veteran’s Day Parade. All school clubs, along with all 4-6th grade military students will be participating. Please return your permission slip to your teacher tomorrow. We will meet in the Wolf Canyon Auditorium the morning of the parade. please bring a light snack and a bottle of water. Parents in uniform are welcome to walk with us.
Friday, November 3– 6th graders will also be selling Snifty pencils this Friday, Nov 3rd after school. It will be $1.50 for one, 5 for $5 or p10 for $10. Please help support our 6th graders!
Permission slips for the Big Smiles Dental Program will be sent home this week. Please return to the school by Nov. 9
Federal Survey Cards are being sent home this week and need to be completed and returned by Thursday, November 9. Our school funding is directly affected by this information so please take a moment to do this.
