  1. Write a check to Wolf Canyon Elementary to support iPad Cases – $15 each.
  2. Click on the link below to purchase and donate one of the items on the Wish List for our Maker Space project.  Wolf Canyon Maker Space

As we approach the halfway point in the school year, here are some things we know:

  • About 90% of a child’s core brain structure forms in the first 5 years of life.
  • A child has the brain connections developed for pre-reading skills by the age of 2 1/2.
  • 40% of kindergarteners enter behind on literacy skills.
  • If a child isn’t reading by the end of 1st grade they will have a 1 in 8 chance of becoming a reader.
  • So…you don’t have to read to your child or expect your child to read every day — just on the days you eat!

SAFETY REMINDERS:

  1. Drop off and pick up are in the drive through at the front of the school and NOT the BUS LOOP.
  2. Students report to the blacktop or auditorium for breakfast in the mornings and should not be hanging around the buildings or other parts of the campus.
  3. Walk bikes and scooters on the sidewalk during the high traffic times (dismissal especially)
  4. Students should not be climbing trees or running around during dismissal.
  5. For everyone’s safety PLEASE BE PATIENT.
