WEEKLY UPDATE: Week of April 27th

Good afternoon, Wolf Canyon Families!

Thanks for making Week 2 of Distance Learning (DL) a success!  Continue to support your child to reach his/her personal best each day.  As I tackle each day, I remind myself that we’ll be better parents, children, & learners once we get on the other side of this unexpected crisis.

As you know, Wolf Canyon values educating the whole child… in addition to the traditional content areas, we also emphasize the importance of the arts.   While I’m convinced that we have the best VAPA teachers in the district, there are also some other VAPA talents you may want to interact with as well.  To participate in fun, interactive lessons in theatre, visual arts, music, and dance, you should check out the CVESD VAPA YouTube videos!  Interested?  Just click here:  CVESD VAPA YouTube Videos

Enjoy your week, Timberwolves!

Warm regards,
Mathew Shy, Principal

With our school and libraries closed during this time, Usborne Books and More is here to help you with resources to support your learning at home!
A special online bookfair has been set up for our Wolf Canyon families to find new books & activities to add to your home libraries & “classrooms” here:

All purchases will be matched by 50% in free books which will be donated to families in need in our community during this time.  Know a special family that could use some cheering up? Nominate who YOU think we should bless with new books by emailing our Educational Services Representative, Ling Kho (LKhobooks@gmail.com) TODAY!

Do you have a Wolf Canyon library book collecting dust at your house?  Feel free to stop by the school this week between the hours of 9:00-4:00pm to drop off your library book.  There will be a collection cart located in the front of the school.
