WEEKLY UPDATE: Week of April 19th

It was great to have Timberwolves back on campus this week while also continuing distance learning for many of our students.  Teachers, staff, parents, and students should all be commented for following all safety protocols and ensuring a smooth re-opening to in person instruction.

Our first week of in person learning went very well.  Please read and review a few reminders to ensure an even more successful second week.

  • Please use the designated cross-walks in front of the school
  • Pick up times are:
    • AM cohort – 11:30 – 11:45 a.m.
      • Any student who has not been picked up by 11:45 a.m. will be brought to the office and someone on the emergency card will need to sign the student out.
    • PM cohort – 3:15 -3:30 p.m.
      • Any student who has not been picked up by 3:30 p.m. will be brought to the office and someone on the emergency card will need to sign the student out.
  • PM third grade will exit at the fourth-grade gate.
  • TK – Gr. 1 students need to be picked up by parent or sibling. Parents need to park and walk to the gate.
  • Gr. 2 students who are being picked up by a car need to walk down to the flagpole area and stand on a paw.
  • Pickup circle: If you are picking up your child from the pickup circle in a vehicle, please pull forward and pick your child up from the front of the school nearest the flagpole.
  • If a student is sent home from school because they exhibit COVID-19 symptoms, they will not be allowed back on campus for 10 days or a negative COVID-19 test.  This test must be a polymerase chain reaction (PCR) test.
  • If a student is a close contact to a COVID-19 positive person outside of school, the student will need to quarantine for 14 days. The student will be assigned asynchronous work by their Hybrid teacher.
  • If we have a positive COVID-19 case on campus, the impacted classroom cohort (both am/pm classes) as well as any close contacts will need to quarantine at home for 14 days.  The cohort of students will move to distance learning for the 14 days.
