Local Measures Assessments

As the end of year quickly approaches, Wolf Canyon teachers and students are preparing to administer end of year assessments to all students.  This year, CVESD will not administer the statewide CAASP assessments; instead, we will be administering Local Measures Assessments which include:

English Language Arts:

• TK – Grade 2
  • Smarty Ants Assessment
• Grade 2 – Grade 6
  • Achieve 3000 Level Set Assessment

Mathematics

• K- Grade 6
  • i-Ready Mathematics Diagnostic

Your child should be very familiar with these assessments.  We administered them at the beginning of the year and mid-year.

Kindergarten, Mrs. Gersten, Ms. Morton, and Mrs. Simmons will communicate assessment dates with parents.

Transitional Kindergarten:

• Smarty Ants Assessment – Friday, May 21^st

Grade 1:

• Smarty Ants Assessment – Friday, May 21^st
• i-Ready Diagnostic – Wednesday, May 26^th and Thursday, May 27^th

Grade 2:

• Smarty Ants Assessment – Friday, May 21^st
• Achieve 3000 Level Set – Wednesday, May 19^th
• i-Ready Diagnostic – Wednesday, May 26^th and Thursday, May 27^th

Grade 3:

• Achieve 3000 Level Set – Tuesday, May 18^th  
• i-Ready Diagnostic – Wednesday, May 26^th and Thursday, May 27^th

Grade 4:

• Achieve 3000 Level Set – Wednesday, May 19^th
• i-Ready Diagnostic – Wednesday, May 26^th and Thursday, May 27^th

Grade 5:

• Achieve 3000 Level Set – Wednesday, June 2^nd
• i-Ready Diagnostic – Tuesday, May 25^th and Wednesday, May 26^th

Grade 6:

• Achieve 3000 Level Set – Tuesday, June 1^st  
• i-Ready Diagnostic – Wednesday, June 2nd and Thursday, June 3^rd
