Month of the Military Child Spirit Week

Many of you know that each year, April is set aside as a military child appreciation month, officially known as the Month of the Military Child.

Children from military families deal with additional burdens, separation issues, family deployments, frequent moves, and even their parents’ injuries as part of the life they were born into or entered with their families.

At Wolf Canyon, we know that it is important that we are appreciative of our families who have served, and are currently serving, all year, but April happens to be the month where we slow down and intentionally make it a point to share our thanks for the dedication and sacrifice of each family.

Because purple is a color used to represent all military services, the theme “Purple Up” is used over the course of the month. And, true to form, the attached flyer outlines our spirit week which begins next week 4/11 and runs through next Friday, 4/15. Please take a look at the flyer and spend time next week showing your appreciation!

Thank you,

Wolf Canyon!
