Dear Families, 

Congratulations to Coach Masterson, whose class had the largest jump in pledges over the weekend! Her class will get a chance to slime the APEX leader and Mr. Lange tomorrow afternoon!

Event Day is almost in sight! Today the Apex team taught us habit #4 in our mission to discover the X-FACTOR, which is TALK ‘EM UP!  When we talk positively about ourselves it can give us the strength to keep going, the strength to overcome challenges we face. Encouraging others and highlighting their strengths can also bring out the best in them! We remember to use positive talk with ourselves and others with the chant:

TALK TALK TALK ‘EM UP!!   TALK TALK TALK ‘EM UP!!

Here is tonight’s challenge: 

The PLEDGE challenge! The class that gets the most students to get a pledge of ANY amount tonight, wins a pinata for their class!

Our Fun Run is this Thursday, 8/25! Below are the times for the event!

TK,K,1, Primary SDC: 9:00-9:45

2,3,4, Intermediate SDC: 10:00-10:45

5,6, Upper SDC: 11:00-11:45

***We are excited to announce that parents are allowed to come and watch their children run this year! If you are interested just swing by the front office on the day of the event to sign in. We look forward to seeing you on Thursday!
