We are proud to celebrate and honor our military-connected students as part of the Month of the Military Child. Military children show incredible strength and resilience. On average, they move 6–9 times during their school years and adapt to new schools, friends, and routines with courage and flexibility.
Purple is the official color of the military child because it represents all branches of the military combined—Army green, Navy blue, Air Force blue, Marine red, and Coast Guard blue. The dandelion is also a meaningful symbol, representing how military kids bloom wherever they are planted and thrive no matter where life takes them.
Due to varying circumstances, we will not be able to host our annual Military Family Breakfast this year, but we sincerely hope to bring it back next year. We invite our families to check out the resources shared on our school blog, which offer support, connection, and helpful information for our military families.
