Scholastic Book Fair is back! Please come visit us! The book fair is here until Next Wednesday, August 7. Your child will have to opportunity to view the books and create a wish list with their classrooms this week. The money raised through the Scholastic Book Fair has helped to buy many of the books in Wolf Canyon’s own library. And don’t forget about your teacher! There’s no better way to celebrate your child’s new teacher than to donate a book to their own classroom library with your child’s name in it. The book fair will open at 8:15 every morning and teachers can allow students with money to come in until ten and anytime after two. Please consider buying a book or two for your child and help us expand our library. Look out for our flyer! Also, remember to join PTA! Membership is only $10.00 but it makes a huge difference!

Wednesday, July 31 is a Volunteer In-service starting at 9:00 am in the school auditorium. Every volunteer must have an up to date TB test on file in order to volunteer on campus. To support our campus Visitors and Volunteers may begin helping out around campus the week of August 5. All classes will meet on the blacktop starting tomorrow for the morning assembly. Students are expected to be in line and ready for the daily message when the bell rings at 8:45 am. At the end of each day for everyone’s safety parents should wait at the front of the school to pick up their child and not in front of the classroom doorway or in the hallways around the campus. In the event of rain, Kinder and First grade students will report to the auditorium and wait to be picked up by their teacher. All other students report directly to their homeroom class.

Things to note: We are a Peanut and Peanut Product Free campus. Toys, gadgets, fancy jewelry and electronic games should be kept at home unless the teacher has given permission for these items to be at school.
