1/26/2026: ELAC & Coffee with the Principal @ 9a

At this week’s ELAC & Coffee with the principal, we will review important updates and information regarding the new Board Policy 3515.1. We will share information related to the CVESDs new Safe School Policy that will take into effect at Wolf Canyon on Monday, February 2, 2026. At this meeting, we will answer questions and support families in registering ahead of time for the Raptor program to facilitate the check-in and check-out process when entering campus before school and during events. Attached you will find a community letter that shares more information.  More information will also be shared with community via email this week. We highly encourage you join us Monday, January 26, 2026, at 9am!! Agenda is attached!

The 2025-2026 Yearbooks are on sale now for $45 until Feb. 28th. The price will increase to $50 after Feb. 28th. All sales end on April 17th and must be placed online only.

We look forward to welcoming students and families back on Tuesday, January 13. PLEASE NOTE…January 13 will be a minimum day. All students will be released on the early dismissal schedule.

Safety Notice: Traffic during Arrival & Dismissal

During arrival and dismissal parking and traffic is busier than usual. School begins at 8:45a. We encourage you to plan accordingly. Student safety is everyone’s number one priority. During drop-off and pick-up, please support keep our all students, families, and staff safe by:

1.  Please pick up and drop off your children only in the loading zones (not in the red zone).  

2.  Park only in designated areas. Do not park behind parked vehicles. 

3.  Do not leave vehicle unattended on unmarked spaces, red zones, or on the loading zone.

4.  Drive slowly and stop for pedestrians. 

5.  Use crosswalks. Do not cross through the vehicle drop-off and pick up zone. 

6.  Follow directions from staff, Safety Patrol team, and on posted signs.

Thank you to everyone for your patience and partnership in ensuring a safe and orderly drop-off and dismissal. 

Congratulations to this school year’s Wolf Canyon Teacher of the Year, Caitlin Mazeau. Caitlin Mazeau is an amazing grade 1 teacher who is compassionate for her students. Beyond her day-to-day responsibilities as a teacher, she manages Wolf Canyon’s Cross-Age Tutor program, is a grade level representative on the Instructional Leadership Team, and coordinates yearly theater visits for our students at Olympian High School. She also collaborates with colleagues through the school year in the Lead Program to teach our students theater and the performing arts, with a culminating theater performance for the community! This School year, our students will perform Annie Jr. Congrats to Caitlin Mazeau!!!
