Student council campaigning will be from Monday, October 17th until Friday, October 21st. Candidates can put up their two campaign posters beginning Monday the 17th. We look forward to seeing your posters 🙂

Monday, October 31st is our Fall Dress-Up Day!  We encourage students to dress in fall colors, a Halloween costume, or like their favorite character from literature.  Please remember the following guidelines:  

• Regular school rules regarding the dress code must be followed.  
• No masks (other than face masks), canes, sticks, accessories, inflatable costumes, weapon-like items of any kind, fake blood, or other substances that will spill or cause a mess will be allowed.
• Unfortunately, we aren’t able to allow students to bring treats for their classes. 
• Students may not wear anything suggestive or provocative in nature. 
• Attire can not promote the use of illegal substances or activities, be derogatory or disrespectful, or portray violence.
• Students are asked to show respect to other students by not touching, defacing, or insulting other students’ costumes.
• Students are asked to show respect for others by not choosing insensitive and/or offensive costumes to the diverse backgrounds represented by others at our school.

Welcome back, Timberwolves! We hope you had a restful Fall Break.

Just a reminder that school resumes tomorrow, Tuesday, October 11th and it is a minimum day dismissal! TK and Kindergarten will dismiss at 1:30pm and 1st – 6th grade will dismiss at 1:45pm.

Please make appropriate transportation and child care arrangements. We look forward to an amazing second quarter!

Family Dinner Night is THIS Wednesday, 10/12, from 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.

Attention all artists, writers, dancers, musicians, and filmmakers!  Now is the time to showcase your talent in PTA Reflections. PTA Reflections is open to grades K-6. Learn more about the PTA Reflections program. There will be a short informative meeting after school in room 703 with Mrs. Adamos.  If you can’t make it, stop by room 703 before or after school for an informational packet, or visit the Art Blog for information.
