Just a reminder that Parent-Teacher Conferences begin tomorrow, Thursday, March 10th and continue through Friday, March 18th.
All 1st-6th grade students will be dismissed at 1:45 p.m during the conference period. Kindergarten students will be dismissed at 1:30 p.m.
Please make appropriate transportation and child care arrangements. We look forward to seeing you all at parent teacher conferences soon!

We are holding elections on Wednesday, March 9th at 6:00pm for the 2022/2023 school year WCEPTA Executive Board. In order to be a California PTA, we are required at minimum to have a President, Treasurer, and Secretary. We currently have nominations for only President and Secretary. I am asking that some parents please step up to fill the treasurer position or other roles. To be clear, if we do NOT have a Treasurer we do not have a PTA. If for some reason you think you’re too new at the school, don’t worry we’re here to support you and help you learn the roles of PTA. Wolf Canyon has a great program in our PTA that supports our students and teachers from Holiday Grams to Field Trips Grants to Events for the students and grants for our teachers, it would be unfortunate to be disbanded. Please reach out to PTA at wolfcanyonpta@gmail.com if you are interested or have questions. Parents can be nominated from the floor on Wednesday for all positions if interested and have been a PTA member for at least 30 days. If we do not have a Treasurer by May 2022 for next year we will be monitored for lack of leadership by California State PTA and will eventually be disbanded. I understand this is extra work for a group of already hard-working busy parents but if we work together we can keep this PTA going.

Good morning Wolf Canyon families! Each year the Chula Vista Elementary School District partners with the YMCA to fundraise for their program.
Our YMCA serves nearly100 students both before and after school, providing them with a rich environment that supports the whole child. Our partnership with the YMCA is incredible.
While many families may not participate in the program every dollar donated helps our students and the program. This year, our goal is $1,000. We encourage you to consider donating to this fantastic cause!
