We’re excited to share that registration for YMCA Character Builders is now open!
Character Builders is the South Bay Family YMCA’s before and after school program for students in TK through 6th grade at Wolf Canyon Elementary School. It’s a great way for kids to stay active, engaged, and supported before and after the school day.
Signing up is easy and can be done online through our Community Portal.
Spots are limited and registration is first come, first served, so don’t wait too long to secure your child’s place!

Continuing Student Enrollment for the 2025/26 school year for current students at Wolf Canyon will take place online this year beginning May 27th. All students returning to any school in the Chula Vista Elementary School District for the 2025/26 school year are required to complete updated enrollment with their school of attendance before the start of school in order for their child’s name to be placed on a class list.
You will be receiving an email that will contain a unique “Snap Code” for each of your children enrolled at Wolf Canyon and a link to the website where you will be able to update information for your child for the 2025/26 school year.
We will begin sending the “Snap Codes” on May 27th. Please make sure to check your emails so that you may complete this promptly. If you have not received your email by June 6th, please contact the school office.
Residency Verification will not be required for families completing the Continuing Student Enrollment, unless you have moved.

The LEAD Drama Club students have been working incredibly hard, and we’re thrilled to invite you to join us for their upcoming performance of Peter Pan! From sword fights and fairy dust to magical adventures in Neverland, this production brings the classic tale to life with creativity, heart, and plenty of talent.
Our young performers have dedicated countless hours to rehearsals, set building, and character development, and they can’t wait to share their hard work with an audience.
Seats are available on first come, first serve basis for no cost!

Student safety is everyone’s number one priority. During drop-off and pick-up, please support keep our all students, families, and staff safe by:
1. Please pick up and drop off your children only in the loading zones (not in the red zone).
2. Park only in designated areas. Do not park behind parked vehicles.
3. Do not leave vehicle unattended on unmarked spaces, red zones, or on the loading zone.
4. Drive slowly and stop for pedestrians.
5. Use crosswalks. Do not cross through the vehicle drop-off and pick up zone.
6. Follow directions from staff, Safety Patrol team, and on posted signs.
