Get a refurbished computer for as low as $80 and sign up for low-cost Internet for $9.95 per month.  Fill out the computer-and-internet-application and drop off at the school office no later than February 6.  Computers will be distributed to qualifying families while supplies last at Arroyo Vista Charter School located at 2491 School House Road on Wednesday, February 15 from 3:00 pm to 4:30 pm.

Join the Birthday Book Club! Forms are available in the office and library. The next presentation of books to all new Birthday Book Club members will be on the morning of Friday, December 16, starting on the blacktop and then moving to the library for pictures. Forms and money are due by December 9 in order to participate in the December 16 presentation. For more information, see Mrs. Moffett in the library.

Tuesday, November 15 is the PTA general meeting at 6:00 pm.  Volunteers are needed for the upcoming December BOGO Scholastics Bookfair and the Holiday Gift Shop.  Check out the “Chore” flyer coming home this week and consider discussing ways your child can “earn” money to buy gifts the family at the Holiday Gift Shop.

Thursday, November 17 is the last day to donate canned food for our holiday food drive.  Thanks to everyone who has supported this effort.

Bring in your empty water bottles this week only and support some of our former students in their service learning recycling project.

Volunteers are needed for Height & Weight Survey this week Monday through Wednesday.   You will need to be available the entire school day and will be responsible for going to get classrooms and bringing them to the auditorium. We need at least 2 persons per day.
