CHALK WALK 2013 VOLUNTEERS NEEDED!
We need volunteers to supervise an amazing, artistic event! Each classroom must have 2 parent volunteers for our annual all day Chalk Walk, Thursday, February 21st. Please contact your child’s teacher or Mrs. Ware (jennifer.ware@cvesd.org) in the office. Thank you!!!
Families zoned for Camarena Elementary School please note that their will be a very important Registration information meeting on February 20 at 6:00pm – 7:00pm in the Wolf Canyon auditorium.
The Family Survey regarding the 2013 – 2014 school year needs to be completed by each family and returned to the school office as soon as possible. This information will help us greatly in determining the number of classes, grades and available spots for zone transers for the next school year.
The Hanover Survey is now going on throughout our school district. This is a very important survey for parents to complete to let us know how we can better serve you and your children. The Champions survey will give us an idea of the needs of our community. This is available through February 28 and will give us information regarding before and after school programs that families are interested in for both Wolf Canyon and Camarena Elementary school. Yearbooks presales are still going on. Yearbooks are $35.00 through February only. Any available books ordered after February 28 will be sold for $45.00. Don’t delay!
K-Kids, our community service club, is asking everyone to support the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society by collecting spare change during the month of February. At the end of the month we ask that all coins/money be counted at home, placed in a ziplock bag with your child’s name, the amount and drop it off with the teacher or in the school office.
