Smencils will be on sale at the front of the school this Tuesday after school only for $2 each or 3 for $5.

Holiday Grams will be on sale next week – buy them for your children or have them sent to your children’s friends. They will be delivered the last day of school before break – Friday, December 20. A more detailed flyer will be sent home.

Friday, December 13 Holiday Heritage Day. Come to school dressed to represent your heritage, culture or holiday customs.

The Holiday Gift Shop is coming to Wolf Canyon December 17 – 19. If you would like your child to participate complete and return the Holiday Gift Shop envelope no later than the close of school on Monday, December 9.

Wolf Canyon is providing a series of Saturday workshops called “Common COREses” from 10:00 am – 12:00 am January 18, 25, and February 1. These workshops are designed to give parents a closer look at the major shifts in English Language Arts and Mathematics related to the Common Core State Standards (CCSS) and what this means for your child’s academic education. Common Core Tip of the Week: Read a book with your child that has been set to a movie. Watch the movie then discuss the similarities and differences between the book and the movie. Pretend you are critics writing a review. Example: Charlotte’s Web.
