October 13 – 17 is Walk, Ride, and Roll to School Week. As part of SANDAG iCommute SchoolPool Program and Safe Routes to School, Wolf Canyon will receive points for walking, biking, or carpooling to and from school. Parents should log in on the TripTracker on the iCommute Website. The top 3 schools with the most points per capita will win money for classroom supplies. Don’t forget to wear a helmet. Share an awesome SAVINGS with friends and family by supporting our Krispy Kreme BOGO cards fundraiser. $12 per card for 10 free dozen donuts. Monday, October 13 there is a School Site Council meeting at 3:30 pm in room 603.

Tuesday, October 14 at 6:00 pm in the school library, we will have a Kidbiz/Teenbiz representative here to inform parents on how to help their children with this program and answer any questions you may have.

Wednesday, October 15 Homework Help begins in the school library for students who have signed up and whose parents are PTA members only.

Thursday, October 16 is the California “Great Shake Out”. Wolf Canyon will not only be practicing what to do in an earthquake but also all of our disaster preparedness drills. Saturday, October 18 from 3:00 pm – 6:00 pm Don’t miss the Masquerade Festival. There will be Inflatables, carnival games, a fortune teller and the ALL NEW Minecraft GLOW Room! There is a $15 entrance fee for all kids over 3 years of age. 2014_masquerade_revAGAIN

Wolf Canyon is excited to offer an after school Chess Program beginning Wednesday, October 22 and every Wednesday thereafter through December 17 except Thanksgiving week. Click the link under Parent Resources to register.
