Thursday, January 19 at 6:30 pm is the Wolf Canyon Science & Technology Night for students in Grades 3-6. (6:00 pm parent inservice on ELA/ELD materials in the library).

Monday, January 30 at 6:00 pm in the auditorium PTA will meet to vote on the nominating committee and answer questions regarding the PTA Executive Board and the selection process for the next school year.  PTA Nominations for 2017-2018 Executive Board are now being accepted.  All positions are open: President, Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer, and Auditor.  Email nomination submissions to Melanie Phillips at mmkphillips@yahoo.com no later than February 3rd.  Elections will be held Tuesday, March 14 at 6:00 pm in the school auditorium. wc-pta-nomination-form

Yearbook pre-sales are going on now through the end of February. Yearbooks are $36.00 during pre-sales and all orders must be place online.   Yearbooks ordered after February will be $50 while supplies last.  THE SCHOOL CODE IS 63612.

The Wolf Canyon Film Festival will begin accepting entries for this year’s competition January 30 – February 20.   For more information or to submit a video contact Mr. Riggs at zachary.riggs@cvesd.org.  The Film Festival event will take place on Thursday, April 27 at 6:30 pm in the school auditorium.

Bring in empty water bottle this week through Friday to promote recycling! Collection bags are in each classroom and in the school office.

Wolf Canyon ELAC invites all parents to learn about the Local Control Accountability Plan (LCAP) on January 31 9:00 am in the auditorium.  Find out how district funds are supporting English learners.

Get a refurbished computer for as low as $80 and sign up for low-cost Internet for $9.95 per month.  Fill out the computer-and-internet-application and drop off at the school office no later than February 6.  Computers will be distributed to qualifying families while supplies last at Arroyo Vista Charter School located at 2491 School House Road on Wednesday, February 15 from 3:00 pm to 4:30 pm.
