Wednesday, May 23 we have our Day of the Teacher celebration. If you can volunteer your time from 11:30 to 1:00 pm that day to help with lunch time supervision we would be very appreciative.
Also, Wednesday May 23 Residency verification begins in the school office 8:00 am to 9:30 am and 1:30 pm to 4:00 pm with extended hours Tuesday, May 29 and Thursday, May 31 until 7:00 pm. PTA and the Chalk Walk committee are in need of canopies. If you have a canopy we can use, please drop it off at the school office labeled with your name by May 22nd. You can pick up your canopy after the Chalk Walk event on May 30th. Thank you!
Thursday, May 31 will be the Wolf Canyon Barbeque. Parents are welcome to come eat lunch with their child(ren). Siblings are welcome but must be supervised as this is during our recess. We will be serving hamburgers and hot dogs.
Congratulations and thank you to all who joined the Birthday Book Club this year. We had 169 members and raised $2000 for new books for the library. A special thank you to Mrs. Lines and Mrs. Zavala who were our first staff members ever to join the Birthday Book Club. Grade 1 had the highest participation with 32 books club members and January was the most enthusiastic month with 20 members. Be sure to look for your picture on the bulletin board in the library or in the yearbook if you joined before 4th quarter.
