Monday, May 14 –State Wide CAASPP testing continues until Friday May 18 for 3rd and 5th graders. Your child will not have homework during the duration of the CAASPP test. Please make sure your child:
*Is at school everyday, on time
*Gets plenty of Rest
*Eats a healthy breakfast

Friday, May 18 6-8pm– Wolf Canyon PTA will be sponsoring Paints Uncorked. A professional artist will lead our group to recreate the events featured painting while we eat and socialize to raise funds for our school. The price is $35. To register, see the link on our blog.

As you are aware, our school community recently took part in an online learning process called Thoughtexchange to help inform our academic priorities. We’ve reviewed your thoughts and priorities and now want to share the results with you. We will continue to use this information to inform our decisions. Again, thank you so much for contributing to the success of our schools and District. Your participation in the process was invaluable.
Wednesday, May 23 is Day Of The Teacher. We are looking for volunteers between 11:30 and 1:00pm with student supervision on the playground. Please contact the school office if you are interested.
Residency verification will begin on May 23rd from 8:00 am to 9:30 am and 1:30 pm to 4:00 pm in the school office. Extended hours are on Tuesday, May 29 and Thursday, May 31 only until 7:00 pm. Students will NOT be placed on a class roster unless Residency has been verified.
Chalkwalk Volunteers are needed. If you can help with this year’s Chalkwalk please leave your name and contact number with the school office. Lunch will be provided for all volunteers. There is a Chalk Walk Volunteer Training on Thursday, May 17th at 3:30 in room 501. If you are unable to attend, please e-mail Mrs. Adamos at Joanne.adamos@cvesd.org. The Chalkwalk event takes place on May 30.

Parents are welcome to come eat lunch with their child(ren). Siblings are welcome but must be supervised as this is during our recess. We will be serving hamburgers and hot dogs. Hope to see you there!
