Friday, February 28 is the last day to order your copy of the school yearbook for the pre-sale price of $36.00. After that, yearbooks will only be available for order through March 21 and will be $45.00. To order click the following link and enter ID#11854014 https://ybpay.lifetouch.com/Order/SelectJob.

New Mathematics materials will be adopted for the 2014-2015 school year. There are 3 programs being considered and available for parents and teachers to review now through April 11. Materials are available for parent review in room 408. We value everyone’s input so please take time to stop by and check out these materials and give us your feedback.

Registration packets for the 2014-2015 school year are now available in the school office between the hours of 8:00 am and 4:00 pm Registration for the new school year will begin at 7:00 am on Wednesday, March 5th for Kindergartners who will be 5 years old on or before September 1, 2014. We will also be accepting new registrations for Transitional Kindergartners and new students in Grades 1-6. If you have any questions regarding registration, please contact the school office at 619-482-8877.

Don’t forget to nominate individuals in the Wolf Canyon community for the Honorary Service Award. To nominate someone please complete the nomination form no later than February 25.

Come out and observe our classrooms and see Common Core Standards in Action this Thursday, February 27 12:00 pm to 3:00 pm Parents/visitors must attend a brief in-service beforehand in the school library.

March 10 from 9:00 am – 10:00 am Mr. Larry Alvarado will present great behavior management tips for parents to use at home with their children. For every parent that attends they will receive a “no homework” coupon for their child.

March 11 from 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm in the school auditorium, grades 4-6 will be sharing what they learn in music in a Musical Showcase.

March 13 – 20 are Minimum Days and Parent/Teacher Conferences will be held. Remember to make arrangements now for those who will be picking up your children on these early dismissal days.

March 24 – April 4 is Spring Break! The school will be closed.

April 10 at 6:30 pm is a Parent Information Night to learn about the changes in the State Testing and our plans to begin a Dual Immersion program.
