Monday, May 7 –State Wide CAASPP testing continues until Wednesday May 9 for 4th and 6th graders.

Thursday, May 10 – Friday May 18– CAASPP testing for 3rd and 5th graders.  Your child will not have homework during the duration of the CAASPP test. Please make sure your child:

*Is at school everyday, on time
*Gets plenty of Rest
*Eats a healthy breakfast

We do have headphones at school, but we have found that students are more comfortable using their own ear buds/ headphones.  Please consider having your child bring their own for testing.

Friday, May 18 6-8pm– Please save the date!  Wolf Canyon PTA will be sponsoring Paints Uncorked, a night out of dinner and painting.  A professional artist will lead our group to recreate the events featured painting while we eat and socialize to raise funds for our school.  The price is $35.  To register, see the link on our blog.

Wednesday, May 23 is Day Of The Teacher.  We are looking for volunteers between 11:30 and 1:00pm with student supervision on the playground.  Please contact the school office if you are interested.

Residency verification will begin on May 23rd from  8:00 am to 9:30 am and 1:30 pm to 4:00 pm in the school office. Extended hours are on Tuesday, May 29 and Thursday, May 31 only until 7:00 pm. Please look for the pink flyer that will be going home with your student on Monday for more information. Chalkwalk Volunteers are needed.  If you can help with this year’s Chalkwalk please leave your name and contact number with the school office. Lunch will be provided for all volunteers. The Chalkwalk event takes place on May 30.

The California School Dashboard is now available for parents.  This is an online tool that shows how schools and districts are performing on local and state indicators.  Please be sure to check the link on our blog.

Please save the date!  Thursday, May 31 will be the Wolf Canyon Barbeque.
Parents are welcome to come eat lunch with their child(ren).  Siblings are welcome but must be supervised as this is during our recess.  We will be serving hamburgers and hot dogs.  Hope to see you there!
