Tuesday, November 15 is the PTA general meeting at 6:00 pm.  Volunteers are needed for the upcoming December BOGO Scholastics Bookfair and the Holiday Gift Shop.  Check out the “Chore” flyer coming home this week and consider discussing ways your child can “earn” money to buy gifts the family at the Holiday Gift Shop.

Thursday, November 17 is the last day to donate canned food for our holiday food drive.  Thanks to everyone who has supported this effort.

Bring in your empty water bottles this week only and support some of our former students in their service learning recycling project.

Volunteers are needed for Height & Weight Survey this week Monday through Wednesday.   You will need to be available the entire school day and will be responsible for going to get classrooms and bringing them to the auditorium. We need at least 2 persons per day.

Monday, October 31 – Just a reminder that we do not wear Halloween costumes to school.  Also, please consider keeping candy home as a treat after school and not at school.

November 1 is the deadline for placing your online order for your child’s school picture.  There will be an additional fee for pictures ordered after this date.

November 1 – 11 Student Council and K-Kids are collecting “Toys for Tots” to support children in need in our community during the holiday season.  New toys only!

Friday, November 4 is Military Pride Day – Wear Red, White, and Blue to show your support of our Military Families and all they do to serve our country.   We also invite our Military servicemen and women to join their students for lunch.

A special thank you to our PTA and all our wonderful volunteers for a great Red Ribbon Week and Masquerade Festival. You are the best!!!

Tuesday, October 25 is our ELAC Meeting 9:00 am. Learn how to support our English learners.

Thursday, October 27 – PTA Reflections projects due. Winning projects are eligible for scholarships.

Wanted – Small “party favor” like toys for the Principal’s Prize Box. Drop off donations in the school office.

Attendance is becoming a problem for too many students.  Please ensure your child is here on time and stays for the entire school day.  Every 3 tardies equals an absence.  Breakfast ends at 8:40 and students are expected to be in line when the bell rings.  Habits for success start now.

For the Safety of everyone please do not drop off or pick up students in the bus loop, make u-turns in front of the bus loop, or drop off students on curbs painted “red”.  Courtesy and cooperation is everyone’s responsibility.

Volunteers are needed to walk the track with students during Run for Fun in the mornings, 8:15-8:40 am. Sign up at the Run for Fun table on the blacktop.
